I was so excited when I found these window shevles and instantly loved them upon receiving them. I had been trying to find a way to get my Succulants and other plants into the sun of my south facing window but I only had a thin window sill so these shelves were the answer to my problem. I bought 2, one each for my double window. I bought the 4 shelf unit and it fits my 64 inch windows perfectly. Most of my pots fit just fine on the 6 inch deep shelves. I installed the units all by myself with just a step ladder & and hammer & nails; the nails which the seller provides. Very easy install for this 5'2" woman. The seller provides everything but the hammer & step ladder to install these shelves, very considerate. The customer service is excellent too; the seller responds right away to any questions. I bought the ready made 4 shelf unit but there are 3 & 2 shelf units too or you can have them custom made if you say want a wider shelf than the provided 20 inch shelves. But the 20 inch shelf is working just fine for me. I have curtains in my widows but I just have to tie them back and they work just fine with the shelves. What else, oh, my plants look great on the clear, hardly noticeable shelves that I think are made of a Lucite type material. The shelves have a thin bar to prevent your pots from falling off, a nice feature I thought. You can hardly see the thin but strong cables that support the shelves. Oh yeah, these are made in the USA of mostly American materials too by a very nice man from the South. A big selling factor for me. I like to buy American and as local as possible. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND! And I will be buying another pair for another window very soon.
