I purchased two of these planters as I wanted stately pair of planters to adorn the deck of my greenhouse. These are really well made and sturdy. There is an inner planter that is only 9" or so deep so you have the choice of having an inserted planter to hold a few shallow-rooted plants or you could remove this and use the entire height of the planter for a tree or tall plant. It also comes with a matching pan for the foot of the tray, although it's very narrow and doesn't really hold much water but it's handsome. It's not solid copper, but copper-plated steel, as solid copper is quite pricey. Still very handsome.I have not used these yet, as it's early in the season, but I hope it holds up with weather and time.
